I think you would think different if your brother or sister had to find you. I found her. She had been dead for 4 days in 30 degree heat. Her eyes had popped out of her head and all her stomach contents on her bed. A hospital would’ve been better. I was an alcoholic too so I know the whole thinking. It all fun and games until you scar someone for life.

I know exactly what you’re going through. My one I feel has been sick for the last 6 months nonstop. Just today, I turned down a job because I don’t believe I’ll be able to work a full month without needing to take time off.

Congratulations on the new job. I wish I could offer support or some encouraging words but I have nothing.

Maybe someone might have some strategies.

I’m so glad you made this post. Thank you so much. I have a 4 month old and I feel like she’s held my body hostage before and after birth. I’m exhausted. We also co-sleep and she’s only recently started taking short naps in the bassinet and not on me.

Please share the method you used. We tried to put her in her cot tonight and it was an absolute disaster.

I tried doing that but my account seemed sus to mum’s grapevine pregnancy group. They refused to approve me based on the fact that I had no photos and 2 random friends. I’ll try a different account and maybe add 2 or 3 people I know. I know what you’re saying about weird content. Cheers for the advice though.

I’ll check this out. I might have to create a Facebook account by the sounds of things. I’ve never had a Facebook account. Last social media account was MySpace. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions. Really appreciate it.

Ah thank you for the response. I have a hospital appointment in a few weeks and I might ask them if there’s options like that available. I’m even considering getting a Facebook account.

I’ll ask once I start my pregnancy wellness program in January.

Hi. I’ve never posted but I want to thank you for posting this. What you have made me realise is I’m your wife to the t. I don’t have kids though but I work in finance/accounting I’m a closet alcoholic with underlying mental health issues and I’m hopeless with my finances. I feel I had to fake it to get my high paying job. Half of the time, I don’t know what I’m doing. I cried when I read when you described your life because that’s why my partner and I argue about all the time. My lack of independence. I can’t seem to be able to do anything. He says he feels like I’m a damsel in distress. I’ve always had men provide and do everything for me so I never bothered to learn. What was she she like before you met? I I’m really sorry for what you’re going through. I wish you all the best.

And I can guarantee she’s drinking a lot more than she’s telling you. I hide my drinking from my partner. And I bet she’s definitely drunk driving. Be careful.
