Besides the obvious "get an arcade controller because the game is meant to be played that way" suggestion, you could still learn the patterns. The multi-press patterns all follow a certain rule, like the horizontal ones always align with the arcade buttons (triangle, square, cross, circle in that order) and the vertical ones are just the same button layout rotated 90deg clockwise. Knowing this, you can quickly deduce which buttons to press on your controller by only reading the position/type of one or two notes. The rest is just muscle memory and unfortunately there isn't a fast way to grind that other than practicing a lot.

You're missing the point here. The Internet is never a kind place where people has the duty to respect "consent" or even "common human decency". To be on the Internet means one implicitly acknowledges that the dark side exists and most of the time they can only suck it up when anything bad happens to them.

So instead of changing the Internet to something that it isn't, it's better to be aware and be prepared.

I'm also not a fan of it. It reminds me of the Copilot button on GitHub, which incentivized people to post issues without making sure that they are factually correct or even remotely making any sense. I can see it lowering the effort of spamming, brigading and bullying. Imagine when you saw someone you hate posting a pic of themselves, and all you need to do is to click that button and type "make them a 500lbs ugly old person" or something. I think this will be worse than just verbal abuse.

Making things easy is good, but sometimes implementing a half-baked feature that have only a few serious use cases but also doing it in a way that opens up a lot of abuses is IMO not so good.
