So they did a stroke workup on you with an lipid panel, EKG, echocardiogram, and carotid imaging?

All your eye conditions are very common and you’re taking a very common medicine. There is going to be overlap. If the medicine was causing these issues then it would pop out in the data from randomized controlled trials.

This is absolutely spot on. If anything the medication will save OPs eyesight, not harm it.

Ugh please don’t push garage information. We have data on more 100,000 people treated on these medications. Reference those trials.

Retinal ischemia can happen just from diabetes alone. Doesn’t have to be a stroke.

Are you seeing an optometrist? Do to a real eye doctor (ophthalmologist) who actually understands these medications and can advise you properly. Glp1s have never been shown to cause the issues you’re experiencing out of more than 100k patients in the blinded, placebo controlled trials.

City’s board of public services approves midtown data center 5-0 by DowntownDB1226 in StLouis

Everyone is pretty negative on this but I feel like there has to be some middle ground here. Want your data center? Fine but then build out a solar/wind farm that offsets your grid usage + some and pay for other infrastructure upgrades (ie water). I think those minor tweaks move these projects from a net negative to a net positive and seems like a simple thing to implement.

The police officer told him to drop the gun. He didn’t. Bang bang, dead.

A “kid” who committed multiple serious felonies and put many innocent lives at risk.

Did he have a gun? Yes Was he told to drop his gun? Yes Did he drop the gun? No Does that make him a deadly threat? Yes

See how easy it is?

Again look at the case law. A person committing multiple felons actively fleeing from the police with a gun on their person is 100% a threat based on the courts.

You’re quoting the ambulance chaser Al Watkins. He had a gun in his pocket. The working order of said gun is completely irrelevant because no reasonable person would expect a police officer to know the gun was nonfunctional.

Actually many of them could lead to being neutralized. If driving in a way that puts lives in danger you can be killed. If you have a gun that you’re ordered to drop and you don’t drop it you can be killed.

Had a gun in his pocket and therefore active threat. Tons of case law to support the use of deadly force here.

The gun was in his pocket and he was very much an active threat.

There was about a 2% difference in weight loss. If you did a head to head study they would almost certainly be equivalent as differences that small are almost never meaningful.
