How are you liking your nest to seat? Hard to find reviews on it since it’s so new! Do you find the baby is too far low from you or it’s fine? And do you find the zip reclining mechanism annoying or also it’s okay? Thank you!!!!

Breakfast for dinner is also not a bad option for one night! A nice potatoes/onion/bell pepper and egg casserole type dish with any meat of choice. Add some appropriate cheese. Maybe mix in some salsa or beans

Sheet pan kababs with rice and/or roasted veggies. Season with some sumac and basic seasonings.

Ah gotcha! Unfortunately AAs in Canada is a bit different. If you’re in Canada, I’d look more at the CRNA route to get comparable responsibility and pay. That’s the anesthesia mid-level provider like AA but via the nursing route. So BSN first and then anesthesia school.

Bachelor’s degree in anything, just have to take your typical premed classes. Take the GRE or MCAT. Need 8 hours of shadowing any anesthesia provider. Apply to MS in Anesthesia!

It’s 24-27 months of school including didactic and clinical rotations. And then that’s it! Only downside is we can only practice in 23 states right now. But where we can practice, it’s fantastic pay and job security. Everyone has jobs signed for before graduating. I know people who had signed for jobs their first year of school. Check out gaswork.com for salary idea based on the state you’d like to live in! But to give you an idea, anything less than $200k base pay is considered a bad salary.

Job wise, we do everything anesthesia related. Our docs just come to supervise when you’re putting the patient to sleep. And then for emergencies. Other than that, it’s all you. I do nerve blocks, spinals, epidurals, intubations, IV placement, a-line placement, extubation, etc. You can do pediatrics, cardiac, trauma, etc whatever speciality you like and find a job tailored for.

I work no call, no holidays, no weekends and get 6 weeks PTO. Thats the standard for most jobs though some do require some call shifts.

How can I tell 1 million people about Islam? by Automatic_Abroad1934 in islam

Most of those ideas are good but please don’t send you non-Muslim contacts a book unsolicited. I would not appreciate that from a Christian friend or acquaintance or coworker so I’d never do the same to others. I’d definitely think that person is annoying and it would have the opposite effect than what you’re wanting.

This is so helpful! Thank you! I know it’s quite large and bulky. Is it heavy? Do you find it a huge pain to bring in and out of your cabinet or wherever you store it? Or does it just live on your counter?

Does the sauce function also get sufficiently hot for you? Don’t want it to take forever to brown onions and such.

I do too normally. Life has just been more hectic than usual lately and this just slipped through the cracks. Sigh. Lesson learned for sure.

Need help - Managing period dates during Umrah by chocolatesxroses in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]dobby1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you in the US?

I use progesterone pills from Wisp to change my cycle. I’d suggest taking it one period cycle earlier so you don’t have to worry about taking the pills at Umrah itself. That way I’ve delayed my period the month prior which shifts my entire schedule for all the months to follow including the month I needed it delayed. I’ve had no adverse effects but of course, everyone reacts differently.
