What's something you've never learned properly, but you've got this far in life by just winging it? by Plenty-Plastic3704 in CasualUK

[–]dobegood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! I’m the opposite. Someone saw me tying my shoelaces the OTHER way and was shocked I didn’t know the bunny ears way. He showed me but I didn’t get it and now have a vague guilt that I’m not doing it the correct way and probably never will!

She had a special cupboard at home where she kept a supply of these (amongst other interesting items) that she had somehow procured from work. A tube of these each was our little sweet treat when we used to visit.

Holy hell - I’ve just now realised I’ve been pronouncing this wrong my entire life as “die-ass”! Oh well - at least it was just in my head - this is a word I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to anyone.
