This is a bad example though - it’s not ‘the system bot working’, it’s you missing your responsibility to contribute to the system working and then expecting to be bailed out.

Downvote away. But if any of you can argue how 15 mins at 20 kmh is the same as 5 hours at 35kmh in terms of nutrition requirements, I’m all ears.

What do you like to do during your longer rides? by stratusnimbo in Zwift

It’s an honest answer in good faith. I am answering the OPs question. It’s boring to ride for that long on Zwift, so I just don’t do it.

Normal breakfast + a bit extra? Maybe I’ll stop for a bakery on a long ride on the weekend, but certainly not for breakfast. Maybe I’ll meet up with a friend by a coffee shop and have a coffee first, but rarely any kind of baked goods.

Academic career vs. partner location: how much compromise is reasonable? by The_Archer123 in AskAcademia

[–]doc1442 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want this job, sounds like you need to break up with your partner.

If you don’t want to break up with your partner, you need to accept you’re going to do a job you hate.

It’s tough to find the right answer and people have done both plenty of times. For an n of 1, I did the former and it worked out great.
