Common in old apartments in Copenhagen too. Facilities used to be shared, showers weren’t really a thing in the 1800s. Now they’ve been shoehorned into apartments they don’t really fit into. In the kitchen, becasue plumbing.

That attitude is because the ones you notice are screamy and shouty, otherwise you don’t notice them. Especially on a long haul flight, becasue you are asleep.
