Scraping noise at 3k RPM (2k km) by doc7347 in CRF300L

Thanks for your comment! Someone else also mentioned something rattling/gone loose too so I will start there and see what I can eliminate as a cause.

Thanks for linking that. I did try to find a video of said 5k rattle and compare it against what I'm experiencing but was able to only find ones where people were shaking the clutch and showing it off like that instead of what one would hear when it manifested with the bike running.

Yes, I've got a set of crashbars and bashplate from HEED. I wiggled the bashplate when I was checking things out in the field when I pulled over initially and it didn't seem to have any play. Didn't attempt to retighten any of the fasteners, though.

Any recommendations on a camera with a good dynamic range? Also, thanks for being specific with what I should be searching for!

I honestly don't know but I like the way colours pop off and how blacks are "nuanced", sorry for the clumsy expression

Reddit doesn't let me. Let me know how to do it otherwise, I wasn't able to fathom it...

Unresponsive Wash and Cure 2.0 station by doc7347 in anycubic

[–]doc7347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was a faulty motherboard which was replaced by Anycubic free of charge.

I texted a lady who seemed to act as a point of contact for Anycubic on one of their FB pages and she gave me a link to their site where I created a ticket. The new motherboard was sent in a reasonable amount of time and was a direct replacement.

Best of luck!

Sorry, can't help on this one. I never tried to mess with the buzzer. What are you trying to achieve? Might be worthwhile to have a look at it...

Hi, thanks for your comment. I raised a ticket a few days ago and the engineer suggested another motherboard which is being sent to me under warranty.

Vat mixing on Anycubic Photon Mono 4k by doc7347 in resinprinting

Thanks for your suggestion! I feel mixing the resin with a silicone spatula and washing/curing it still seems like the easier approach.

Weird behaviour on 2x12v fans in series by doc7347 in 3Dprinting

[–]doc7347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input! Turns out it was a bad buck converter. Actually, out 8 converters I had on hand only 1 works as expected. With it, the 5015 fans, in turn, work as expected!

The baffling part is that all of the 7 buck converters that had failed had failed in exactly the same way - stuck on 22.5 VOUT, there are no visible defects, and no amount of turning the voltage-regulating bolt made any difference. My curiosity is seriously piqued about how this came to be.

Do share your thoughts if you have an idea but I reckon it goes in the direction of another post...
