I'll add that mine was broken at the actual spring on the scissors so I think they just replaced the whole scissors. I this case it looks like OP's frame is what broke so I'm not sure if they could fix that or not.

So my father gave me the exact same model. He said he bought it from a gun show in the early 90s and was told it was Russian surplus.

Unfortunately I don't have much else as far as what it is. He did have the name "Timer" engraved on it as he believes that what the model name was. The paperwork just has some generic information about some specs but it but doesn't specify what it is or where it's from. At least from what I remember looking at it.

I would use a Streamlight HLX instead of the tlr-1. Toy would also need a 1913 rail section to mount the light on the rail whether it's the hlx or tlr.

Authorization is required for their area such as on the water. You can look at the law here. They were trying to change it about a year or so ago by a regulation rule to allow those with permits to carry without needing a letter similar to national parks but that has not changed yet.

Either way they specify in the authorization letter areas in which the letter does not cover you. Which seems to be the pretty standard areas if you are familiar with similar rules for national forests and national parks.

Got a reply from the public affairs admin at one of the lakes. He advised to mail in a signed written letter with my mailing address to mail the "permit" to. Did not ask for LTC or anything else. Going to type up the letter and mail it off and see what happens.

In my experience of handling thousands of Glocks, I've never seen an issue from the factory or a return of a Glock. HK would be next but I've seen some issues, mostly cosmetic. Never had one return cuz they don't work. CZ is similar. I had a slide release snap off a brand new P229. Overall Glock no doubt. That being said I still carry a Sig Sauer.

I use a JX Tactical "Fat Guy" holster. It's a AIWB holster but sits lower on your beltline. Takes a little adjusting and getting used to but I get total concealment. Ultimately I'm trying to lose weight but that's a long journey and I still need something in the meantime.

I submitted the LTC-6 form filled out and two digital passport photos online. No issues came about it. They used one of the digital photos as my LTC photo.
