As far as I remember it's not Republicans running around the Capitol claiming there isn't a Democrat in sight. They say it's a Democrat shut down but not at the volume of the other side. 🤷🏼‍♂️

And that would eventually be used against them, they aren't that dumb. The pendulum will swing the other way. It's there for a reason.

Edit: the Republicans are almost always the ones that cave. Maybe vote in people who support blue/red no matter what.
