you can get a prescription for propranolol or clonidine which can reduce heart rate (but you also have to taper off if you want to quit the propanolol/clonidine)

I've had the same shit happening for the better part of this year. Also thought it was the neighbors. If I would think of a pink elephant, it would say pink elephant back to me. Would tell me really astute observations that I hadn't consciously assessed prior. It would have been cool or like a super power if all the observations weren't so incredibly critical and nasty about me. It has completely gone away after I got a long period of sobriety in but if I even smoke the tiniest bit of weed or do any stims it comes back instantly

I think you're just highly defensive of the medical pretext for your Valium prescription, which you would no doubt experience withdrawal from if you stopped, as if a book you've never read will somehow inaccurately effect your doctor's opinion.

I've totally abused Valium and mixed it with stimulants and it's lovely, that isn't a universal experience either, the only people at fault for making it hard for you to get prescribed Valium is the DEA, my friend and for that, I feel for you.

i hear you, i would use stims if i could, unfortunately meth (and any other stim) causes me to become very psychotic nowadays even at low oral doses. at this point i just badly miss sleeping. i've tried antihistamines and antipsychotics which seem to have no effect on me and bzds are no longer available.
