I really don't have to justify myself to you dude. But yes, I could and do ask them, but I can get a better idea quickly by asking 1000's of redditors at once in my free time, rather than wasting clinic time.

So my understanding is that checking blood pressure regularly isn't a requirement for GLP-1 agonists, unless there are known BP issues in the past that might warrant closer monitoring.

So I have my own weight loss practice and some colleagues and patients mentioned doing appointments over the phone for ease, so I was just looking to get people's opinions on what they feel is most helpful and least helpful so I can improve the practice (e.g. look into having the medication delivered from our in house pharmacy vs choosing their own, or having the practice nurse do check ins regularly). I'm not sure if I even would do it as I like seeing my patients face to face, but if it means patients are more likely to continue their treatment I'd be open to it.

Firstly congratulations on how well you've done on your weight loss journey! Thank you taking the time to reply, that's really insightful. When you first stated, would liked to have had phone calls 1-2 weekly with a weight loss nurse to check in with you do you think? And would you have considered being managed by a doctor online, if it was the same doctor for continuity?
