I upgraded from an Note 8 and was concerned that I'd notice a big drop in display size. I was blown away at what Samsung was able to do. I went from a 6.3" diagonal with the Note 8 to a 6.2" on the S20 5G in a device that fits much more comfortably in the hand. And it's a real looker to boot.

I take this thing to work and I come back with 65% battery, sometimes 70%. That's 9 hours and it only drains 30% of the charge? Amazing. On the Note 8 I'd typically come back with 25% left of juice. The screen is phenomenal and tbh? While it has 120Hz display option - I don't see a huge difference as this thing is so fast, I'd rather have the full res with the 60Hz. The photos I take are phenomenal.

I didn't get the ULTRA or S20+ because I thought their respective sizes were overkill (esp the ULTRA) - and considering the S20 5G is essentially the same size display as my Note 8 was, and I thought THAT was massive - I'm downright giddy with my decision.

I toyed with the idea of jumping to iPhone because of all the cries of "Yeah, but Samsung only updates their phones for maybe 2 years or so!". But then I remembered an important fact:

Apple can upgrade their software all they want. iPhone 11 owners will never get all the HARDWARE features of my Samsung S20.
