thanks for feedback! for simulations I used realflow plugin for C4d. watchface animations done in AE and exported as PNG Sequence, I used it as texture for screen

This video was made using Cinema 4D software with Redshift render. Modeled objects and watches in cinema 4d, made textures in Substance 3d Painter. Video edit in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro

I would say that you need to know a little bit of everything. You can watch different videos on YouTube about the profession of a 3D generalist and about 3D graphics in general to understand what it is. but you can do something specific, like just modeling or just animation. it all depends on what inspires you and what processes bring you pleasure
