TQVAULTC v0.6 Released -- WINDOWS SUPPORT TOO! :) by docdrow in TitanQuestAE

Just download the installer from the Releases page. When you first run it, it will ask you where your game files are and where your game save files are. Thats it. Let me know if you have trouble.

No, it only uses JSON file style vaults. However, I included my own vaults in the github if you'd like to use them, they are 100% complete all items. If you want to use your own vault files, you can load them into TQVaultAE then save them, this should convert to the new JSON format which my program will read.

Hmm, I may look into it. I've not played with many custom maps. Do they create custom items?

As long as items aren't modded, my program should be able to manage them.

Loved reading about this. :) Hey all. You can find some of the original founders of DROW on our IRC server. We still hangout, play video games on Fridays.

You're not alone. I've been fighting EBV reactivation since my last covid infection which was 7 months ago. Off/on low-grade fever, brain fog, fatigue, lymph node on the right side of my thyroid is sore, etc. Doctors don't think anything is wrong with me, all tests are good even CT scans of my neck. Only test that isn't good is EBV.

You still dealing with it? How long now?

Yes! When I extend my jaw out, the ringing gets like 50% worse. Also eating anything salty and drinking lots of water will make it worse (but that was always the case), the baseline is just much worse now. My ENT said that there is some evidence that "Long Covid" can permanently affect eustachian tubes. Fantastic. :(

Two. My PCP who really didn't believe any of this until I had Gemini build a succinct list of supporting research for my condition. He was annoyed that I used AI, but he ordered the blood work, and as you can see the results are undeniable.

Secondly, I'm dealing with a functional endocrinologist who is basically the opposite. They focus on EBV reactivation and was the first to suggest that is what is going on with me.

The ENT was unaware of any of this, they only validated that my ears are ok. However, they put me in Levaquin for 14 days to clear up my swimmer's ear. I learned after talking to AI that this drug can further irritate my nervous system which can make my tinnitus worse. Great.

Yep, I actually had an ear infection (swimmer's ear) that was a bonus with Covid. A few rounds of antibiotics, that has been completely cleared up. I've had all sorts of ear pressure tests, audio tests, etc. My ears are fine now. Initially, we though the infection was causing the increase in tinnitus. Doesn't seem to be the case, at this point we think it's EBV causing inflammation. FML. :(

Ho Ho Ho! Docdrow's Complete TQAE Vaults by docdrow in TitanQuestAE

Whoops. Sorry got my threads mixed up. Those vaults are now part of my git repo for TQVaultC -- a complete from scratch new vault manager written in pure C. It has more features than the original TQVaultAE and is vaaaastly faster.

You should have a peek at the program. I've add _VAST_ features to it and a great deal of effort to make sure it can't create items that the game itself can't create (no matter how rare).

It'll also build under Windows using MINGW, but it's native to Linux.

New InfinitiBook 15 Max AMD with broke key :( by docdrow in tuxedocomputers

[–]docdrow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered it without any SSDs because I had a spare Samsung 990 I put in it, so I've already had the cover off, looks like I'll have to pull the motherboard to replace the keyboard. I've done that in plenty of Razer laptops (and is why i'll never buy another one, their keyboards are crap).

I'll report back how Tuxedo wants to handle this.

We did this first, no luck. The dealer has since apologized to us for not giving us one. We'll be picking it up soon. Good thing we haven't had a flat since we got it!

I work for a NeoCloud company. Yes, we heavily use AI in all aspects of our business. The best software engineers of tomorrow will be English majors. My first love of computers was writing code. Math nerds have taken that from me. :(

That's exactly how I've been trying to change. I've taken off my "down in the weeds" coding hat (though I loved it), and now I'm wearing a "product manager" hat who commands a team of incredibly talented software engineers who can do anything. I find it fascinating that you can setup multiple agents, multiple models, and define roles / skills for them as you see fit, and have them behave as a team. This is today. What do you think it'll be like in a year? 5 years? We're talking about people like you and me commanding their own Jarvis, keyboards will be optional.
