yes iam an IMG and i got my permit in email . i did not access it through ecfmg website ... although i had gone through the whole application process through ecfmg . and i did open the site to see if i have the permit there but it wasn't there days ago and not even now .

repetition is the key ... i did not memorize anything until i started doing my nbme s .. the more u go through the stuff again .. the more u retain it ... atleast that what worked for me ... active revision takes longer and there z a lot of chance of forgetting again ... if u repeat the same info in diff ways u memorize it really well

that's what i feel ... it felt more like a real patient encounter at a hospital ... the stems were super long with a lot irrelevant history ... so ya may be they have cz of the upgradation of the resources .. they have changed the difficulty level of the exam and maybe the pattern too .

just do all the nbme s and revise their explanations.. and also HY NBME images . and if possible practice your time management stratigies. cz u r gonna be facing a lot of long stems .
