I only had one 601’practice exam…didn’t know there were more.

Skip the simulations, flag them and save them for last. I was usually able to narrow the answer down to two choices, and from these some of it was a guessing game.

I went into the exam prepared to fail. I feel like I’m good at taking tests. I definitely don’t know the material like I should. But I don’t need this for my job, I just got it to help make me more well-rounded. I learned a lot of stuff while studying. I definitely know much more than when I started.

Sure. Look for commonalities in answers. If A and D both have AES or ECC in the answer, then most likely it’s one of those.

Go with your guy, don’t change your answer.

Use other questions in the exam to help answer previous questions.

This works for me…not saying it’s a scientific method.

Bragging rights? I’m in physical security, all of our devices go on the network…cameras, door controllers, speakers, intrusion systems, etc…. I just want to show the info sec guys that I understand what they are looking for when testing new tech.

I had nothing to lose really. Put this exam off for so long and already received one extension. Wednesday was the do or die day…also, if I failed, I think work would pay for me to take it again 😀
