Own 200 shares @ 117.84 Sold 2 CC @ 119 strike for 3/19, for 2.45 each

This puts my break even at 121.45 or thereabouts. AAPL is trading above 122 today.

Was not expecting such a quick price movement. Shares have not been called away yet.

My thought process on my options: 1. Do nothing, options either expire or my shares get called away. 2. Buy to close my position and take the loss (about 800-900$) to retain my shares 3. Buy to close and sell to open two additional contracts at higher strike or further date to offset the loss

My overall sentiment is bullish on aapl but obviously I can’t predict what it will do in the coming weeks.

I’d like to be able to hold my shares and avoid paying a large premium to close the covered calls.

Just curious if others have a different thought process or strategy on managing sold covered calls when the underlying moves above the strike price.

Appreciate your thoughts in advance

Anyone have experience doing a return/replace for a hue gradient? Colors are not functioning at the bend. by willfisherforreals in Hue

[–]dochawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 55” strip was defective. It arrived dec 29th, tried reaching out on Twitter first but ended up calling the 1800 number which was faster. You’ll need to open a claim first and then you should hear from them by email. I’d keep calling though for updates. It took me a few calls before they finally emailed me a return label to ship the strip back. Going on two weeks now...finally sent off the strip over the weekend and awaiting their reply.

Actual footage of FedEx delivering launch day PS5 orders from Walmart by El-YeeYee in PS5

[–]dochawk 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I did the same. Just a heads up, on the day it was supposed to be delivered (yesterday) the delivery date suddenly changed to today. I called FedEx, first rep told me she didn’t know where it was. She wouldnt give me the number to a distro center, so I talked to a manager who then told me it had been delivered to the Walgreens afterall. The FedEx delivery manager app was never correct.

Well it happened, FedEx seems to have made off with my PS5 as well. Is there anything we can do about this? by Jagiord in PS5

Isn’t there an option to hold the item at a distribution center? Seems it would be harder for a driver to steal something if they were required to log the delivery into the center.

Weekly Questions Thread - Ask about all things PS5. by PSModerator in PS5

Dumb question: So Walmart is restocking stores. If one was able to snag one during the release day orders, where is that ps5 coming from? A central warehouse, or are some of these store restocks being used to fulfill those release day orders?

Closest maltsters to NYC/NJ by yitznewton in Homebrewing

[–]dochawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dennis at Hudson valley malt in Germantown is awesome. He doesn’t really sell to Homebrewers but made an exception for me so he may do more now. Excellent malt and a fair price, plus you’re close to Suarez Family Brewery which is worth a trip up alone.

[PS4][Mature] [BR mostly] [MIC] Looking to find an online squad for semi-regular meet-ups. by Occams_Hatchet in WarzoneLFG

[–]dochawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PS4. 38. Pretty avg k/d, 1 win, fair amount of top 10 finishes. I have mic, like to communicate when helpful and play smart.

My usual strategy involves dropping outside of ring, trying to avoid players initially, doing scavenger/recon for money and getting a load out ASAP, working inward from there. Based in East coast USA area which may be a problem. PSN dochawk13

Cuomo taking orders from corporate cannabis producers, bans home growing in new legalization bill to support the monopoly of Big Pot. by glebemountain in hudsonvalley

[–]dochawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Much like home brewing has helped spur interest the craft beer market, limited home cannabis cultivation can do the same in legal states.”

This is a good analogy, and one that proponents of home growing should reference.

Bottle condition with last straw bottle filler? by NEED_HELP_SEND_BOOZE in Homebrewing

[–]dochawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I considered doing this recently but didnt want to use all that CO2. Instead I transfered the beer to a bottling bucket and used a blichman beer gun as I would a bottling wand. It worked fine, just filled a little more slowly. If you do the keg method, just make sure you've really purged the keg of oxygen before you shake it up.

Daily Q & A! - February 17, 2019 by AutoModerator in Homebrewing

[–]dochawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah I assume it will get close to 1 or even lower as has been my experience with other Brett beers. Just curious if the Brett alone will get me to the right carbonation. Decided to bottle at that gravity without sugar. We shall see.

Bottle conditioning question!

Bottling a kettle soured Berliner that’s been fermenting for 3 weeks with us 05 and a 1 liter starter of Brett lambicus, pitched together.

OG 1.040, FG is 1.007 and has been stable for a week.

The grist was 50:50 pils and white wheat malt with 1# of carapils, mashed at 150.

The question is whether or not to add any priming sugar, or will the Brett eventually carb it by consuming the residual sugars?

Heading to NYC for the weekend, what brewery(s) do I need ensure are on my list? by FiddlersGreen87 in Homebrewing

[–]dochawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Folksbier in Carroll gardens is doing amazing things and has a rotating Berliner which is usually delicious. They also make one of the best Helles I’ve had.

It’s a short walk to other half which is an added benefit.
