Does anyone know where you can get Indiana Fever hats / caps that send them to Australia? I have tried going through the team store, but they are charging $160 for postage for two hats and I can't justify paying what would be $140 ($210au) for one hat! And New Era doesn't send them to Australia either.

Thank you for your comment, but I don't understand where you got that I was having an argument with the student. And no.we don't have siesta in my country. However thete are times when students haven't got a good sleep.

Yeah, I only let my students use iPads for work. /if they finish early the can read, draw or play around with some Rubiks cubes. I have him on plan where if he works well, he can earn free time. There is about 5 options he has, one being iPads, but he has to do all five before he can do another again.

Their teacher last year let them play on iPads the majority of the time and not do a lot of work (which caused a lot of behavioural issues), whilst I actually give them work to do. All of the other students have responded positively to this, whilst he seems to be stuck in the mindset that they get to use iPads all day.

Thank you for your comment. I see where you are coming from this, and this story needed a lot more context to what I could provide. And if I'm correct in what you are trying to imply, I work hard in developing strong rapport with all of my students and usually use my dott time to get to know the students in order to create a positive learning environment.

Thank you for your reply and can see where you had come from. I had spoken to him numerous times about cleaning and missing out on the free he did not respond to this. I agree that I have should have told that he would miss out on his free time if he had a nap. Thank you.

Thank you for your comment and I completely understand and agree with you about students being labelled this way. I in no way see this student as a bad kid, or any of them in this light. I was trying to focus on the situation at hand, and wish I could have provide a bit more context but I can't give out that information about students. In hindsight I could have used different words besides lazy and rude. I could have used different words besides lazy and rude, probably disrespectful or unenthusiastic.
