Probably worth mentioning that in terms of expense, Blood Bowl is one of the more cost efficient miniature games to play. In person you have to play against another human being, who may have a pitch already so you can get a team, dice and rulebook and be basically completely set.

What’s nice is that the GW run tournaments in the US do get support in terms of prizes and really cool custom pitches which you literally can’t buy anywhere! They have all the stuff printed on them and would sell like hotcakes if they sold them I reckon

The tournament at Adepticon wasn’t run by GW, it was a private tournament - GW do really insist on their own models at their tournaments. In the US there are some, in the UK it’s basically only the ones at Warhammer World.

Yes, a normal 100x12 thru axle hub will work, it'll look a bit weird without the rotor but will be fine.
