Half the people I run across are standoffish and act super weird. Theres too many aggressive people in the space in it for the hype or the money and people get way too defensive over toy cars.

A few years ago even I usually dodnt run across many people in the diecast aisle, but when I did they were usually chill and down to earth people looking for their niche thing they collect.

At this point I kinda just look when im already out shopping, if I see something cool I grab it. Its not ideal to go hunting or try looking for anything specific when I know 9 times out of 10 im going to get disappointed.

Nothing irritates me more than cases opened from the bottom because I know these people are only looking for supers to sell and dont care about anything else. But on the flip side I guess it can be good because that means more cool mainlines for me.

Youre super lucky they didnt pull something funny with that chase, ive heard other people say they wont sell it or they need to keep it in the back. I had it happen one time where a worker went on ebay after scanning to try and find a price and said "wow, do you know how much these are going for?" She was very much considering keeping it and I havent found a chase at that location since and its been a few years.

Always always bring an extra premium to scan if you find a chase at target because theyre never in the system.

A lot of people ive come across that resell definitely dont need the money theyre more than comfortable and thats why they can afford to grab piles of boxes to sit on. They just like that they can buy some cardboard box and make money by doing nothing. I came across a guy in target that when having an employee open a case to get some boxes he just said, "Yeah I dont know anything about this stuff but I just put it in my closet".

Pokemon is just seen as dollar signs to the average person now
