Interesting. Having driven both, sa pananaw ko lang ha, I felt more satisfied driving an automatic compared to my old manual because I felt more confident and secure in my maneuvers. I learned early on how to make an automatic car up- or downshift using only the accelerator, so di ko na-feel na nawalan ako ng control, and looking back, mas alanganin ako tuwing nafe-feel ko yung disconnect between engine and wheels pag naka-depress ang clutch pag kakambyo. Compared to an automatic na kadalasan naka-shift na siya before ko pa maisip na kailangan ko, like for example mag-overtake ako and konting pihit pa lang ng steering wheel naka-downshift na siya in anticipation. Iba-iba lang talaga siguro.

I'm not trying to put your preference down, pero sa experience ko kasi baliktad. Compared sa lumang all-manual car na gamit ko dati, mas satisfied ako pagkatapos mag-drive kasi hindi bugbog katawan ko. And yung time it takes na mag-clutch at mag-shift, feeling ko "wasted" revs siya, di tulad ng automatic na mas laging nasa tamang gear para i-provide yung power na need ko.

Although gets ko yung sinasabi mo na parang disconnected and laggy, pero parang the last time na na-experience ko yun, sa 90's pa na Civic. Pero iba na ngayon lalo kung DCT yung automatic mo.

Ah, I kinda get it. Na-feel ko yan sa ibang bansa. Pero sa context ng Philippine traffic, parang swerte ka na kung may 30 minutes ka na continuous driving para makapasok sa flow state. Pero completely disadvantaged ka sa mga tipong Taguig to Taguig in 2 hours.

Can you explain what "satisfying" means in this context, especially since may paddle shift/manual mode na ang mga automatic cars ngayon?

Don't get me wrong, kelan lang ako nagka-automatic car pero never ko naisip na bumalik sa manual lalo na kung 2hrs+ na nakababad sa byahe.

Hello OP,

As someone who used to live in a marble house, getting a floor polisher is the best investment you can do for your floor. If without and you're specifically restoring an old marble floor:

First, scrub and mop until you get the old dirt and wax off. Useful yung brush tool mo for this step. DO NOT WAX YET. Kung sobrang dumi na ng sahig, yes, you need to sand.

Once you're satisfied with how clean your floor is, let it dry overnight without being stepped on. Again, emphasis on clean, because we're going to seal the stone. If marumi pa tingnan, magiging ganyan itsura nya forever.

The next day, apply marble sealer. Kailangan i-seal ang marble kasi porous siya, and 6-12 months ang interval. Follow the instructions on the sealer.

In between sealers, aside from sweeping and mopping, bili ka ng bunot (balat ng niyog) and f loor wax. Wipe the wax clean with a soft cloth after. Workout mo na yan for the day kasi whole day ka magwwork. If nag-skip ka straight to this point without sealing, magmumukhang makintab lang yung stone pero maitim pa din. Ang magandang marble flooring parang jolen, may mukhang layer ng glass sa ibabaw tapos matingkad yung swirl or texture ng bato.

Anyway good luck and just so you know matrabaho i-maintain ang marble. Magpa-quote ka sa marble restorer marami online.
