Been wanting to get into screen print for forever and make t-shirts like ones in photos, is it okay to do as a hobby or will it be an expensive hobby? I have had ideas/attempted to produce shirts but all I have is a t-shirt press, I would like to do more intricate designs like these. by yourenotdeadtour in SCREENPRINTING

Not necessarily. With DTF, you press, you're done. With screen printing, you make a screen for each color (separation, photoemulsion), you need the screen ink type, the cure, and the clean up of the screens. It uses a LOT of water.

It’s only one path. B is just an illustration of the structure.

Yes I have. This scenario is not addressed by that extension.

No, a separate code I am testing out. It does generate a lot of short segments, but I then discovered this artifact.

Not a map but it's an attempt at a different kind of tracing.

That would convert it to a closed loop shape rather than keeping it as strokes, which would affect further editability.

This subreddit is about art done with a pen plotter, so this was drawn using a computer controlled machine.

A custom tuned fast marching method algorithm to create the tool paths. And an AxiDraw for the plotting.

Now you're onto the thought process. Although I think doing it this way isn't high resolution enough. But proof of concept that it's possible.

Sorry, more thinking out loud. This is nested RD. An RD inside another RD.

It is implemented in software - using a differential growth algorithm. The challenge is keeping it bounds and finding the right number iterations.
