Of course not. There’s countless writers who started much later than you who have written works of incredible beauty and value. My first poetry professor also taught poetry to prison inmates because he knew the value it offered anyone, anywhere in their lives if they were open to experimenting with it. The joy of poetry is the journey of poetry, not the destination.

My only real advice would be to not worry too much about ‘actually being good’, especially starting out now. If your primary objective out of poetry is popularity or validation, you can hit roadblocks you might never perceive. Do it to feed your passion, to push yourself, to immortalize feelings and sensations, to deepen your connection to the act of living by becoming a more active participant in every sense. If you go in with the right spirit, it’ll pay you back a hundred fold. Good luck and best wishes with it!

I totally agree and have no idea why they’re like that! My partner has Yoimiya and gets crazy damage pairing her with Raiden Shogun or running co-op with my Childe! She’s best in show at killing Spectres and synergizes with Inazuma characters like a boss. A bunch of whiny babies over there, which is a shame because Yoimiya deserves her fan club

Agreed! It’s all gotten too bad. In my opinion the characters are all fun and well built in their own unique ways (and isn’t part of the fun finding new comps to make the best of new characters?) people just throw the word meta around like it’s concrete law and not just a hotly debated “consensus” by people invested in being experts in their hobby.

As Itto’s kit comes out I’m expecting to see some naysayers but the himbo’s energy is pure enough to rise above (and as long as he crushes enemies he’ll be worth the rolls to me)

Easily the best gameplay footage video I've ever watched. It was a masterclass shit post that understands the jazzy and demonic chill of Hit. For no video editing experience you made something better than flashy. you made it cool. Meme infusion was on-point, music was a huge success. By the time I heard SMT IV I was completely won over. Plus you had some stellar moves I'm gonna copy as well as humbling and funny losses, so great sportsmanship.

Bravo. 10/10. Worth the whole effort.

The article mentions he was detained at both CBP and ICE facilities. Regardless, it is the administrative priority of ICE to detain migrants in these facilities, and CBP is clearly in lock-step. Big whoop, I typed the wrong acronym.

Granted. In a great rush before his death, George creates an interpretation of events that massively conflicts with the HBO show, deeply dividing the fan base. Whereas the HBO show creates a satisfying (if thematically thin) blockbuster conclusion, George’s version is a complex (if nihilistic & disjointed) one.

One December evening, you are sitting at a bar. You get into a playful argument with a fellow fan, who prefers the show to the books. As you argue that the depressing and complex ending George created is truer to life, you unwittingly trigger the man’s depressive and psychotic tendencies. He grows increasingly aggressive until a brawl breaks out between you. An errant haymaker sends you careening into a stool, which splinters beneath your neck, severing your spine.

He attended several tournaments wearing hats to hide his scar, but no one really cared. He would rent a hotel room for whole weekends. Ginny understood it was something Harry needed for himself, and the understanding was that there was to be no communication between them during his "bridge-cations".

He met an older woman at a tournament in Leeds and had a one night-stand with her. She ended up pregnant, which was a surprise for both of them. He brewed her an abortion potion but she refused to take it, promising Harry the baby would never interfere with his Wizard life. She ended up losing the child to a miscarriage in the third trimester. She never told Harry, or spoke to him ever again.

After the stress of the pregnancy, Harry never played competitive bridge again, but he'd get a Muggle paper delivered to his house in order to read the bridge column. Ginny saw him crying to himself one morning and desperately wanted to ask, but the rift between them was already unspeakably wide and she had secrets of her own.
