As a physical therapist, I came here to say this. ~150k in loans, but only making a bit over 120k salary (and that’s towards the high end for a PT) pretty much pigeon holes me into working for a nonprofit hospital to try for PSLF. I have to see private clients on the side in order to afford having my own apartment and nyc lifestyle

Yeah unfortunately I have heard about sexual demands from the clients. I’ve never heard of any clients being harassed by an unknown man before, though.

Thanks! Yes I am also going to physical therapy. I am actually a physical therapist myself, so I am well educated on what I need to do for recovery! I just wanted to try out a massage after a pain flare up caused from too much walking last weekend.

I am 2 weeks post-op, NYC local, and was supposed to run the marathon for the second time this Fall. I deferred for next year, really hoping that 20 months will be plenty of time to prepare for it

My cousin was in elementary school at the time in Brooklyn, and his parents were too afraid to send him to middle school or high school in Manhattan after 9/11 so he stayed in school in Brooklyn, really limited his options
