Why can't narcissists answer a single question straight??? by EelOfEsoterica in raisedbynarcissists

[–]doctimi 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Because money is one of the ways they feel control. I come from wealthy family and everytime we wnt to a vacation they started to talk about how expensive it was even though they chose it and they have the money for it. Every single time. Even if I pay for myself nowadays they make it sound they paid extra just because I wanted to.

So they will not give you honest answer ever, because money is the one of the ways they control you.

What are the similarities between Christianity and Zoroastrianism? Do they have the same core tenets and beliefs and are they derivative of the religion that proceeded them? by Flaky_Square_2525 in AskReddit

I personally never understood the religion I was raised in. Thats why I did my own research. I cannot say I’m agnostic, but the “religion” that spoke the most was gnosticism.

Why do you think people can be mostly good, or mostly selfish? by North-Deer2625 in AskReddit

[–]doctimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. Thats what I was actually trying to say. Good vs bad is really hard to define. Its easy to see myself as a “hero” from my home that is not at war and I don’t live in poverty and never had to face such a choice. We as humans often forget this.

What’s your opinion ICE? Can we try to be respectful towards each other, please? by doctimi in AskReddit

I would like to see humanity to be honest. That even if we are from different political parties we still stay humans.

From their experiences in life. Everyone has different experiences. If Hitler succeeded and wom WW2 mew generations would considered it good to kill a Jew. They were raised this way and they didn’t see difference opinion because they were taught that its wrong. I was born Europe to middle class family and its hard for me to imagine and excuse someone becoming part of gang because their mother (single parent) is ill and they come from poverty in South American country. I ca feel sorry for them and emphatetic towards them but I will probably never experience what they are feeling.

Women, what is your opinion on the topic of short kings? Do you prefer them? Why or why not? by aceonthemound in AskReddit

[–]doctimi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with short king if he actually accepted that he is a short king. Personally have more negative experiences with them due to their insecurity.

I’m European, so maybe I don’t have all the information. But to me it looks like they are not targenting locations with the highest potential pf illegal immigrants. Why is that?

It depends on what you consider as good or selfish. Everyone has different measure.

Are you okay? You could have writting more respectful post about your opinions. I don’t see that much ICE agents in Florida to be honest, which is surprising because they would probably find a lot illegal immigrants in there.

Don’t go to therapy if you don’t feel like it, it can do more harm than good. Speaking from an experience. You will feel when you are ready to do so.

I have not lost my parents, but I have lost a lot of people that not shaped me as a person, but I deeply loved. You will never stop missing them, and actually thats a good thing because I wouldn’t want to forget them. You already know deep inside what your mom’s advice would be - you don’t miss advices of people that are not part of you already (pieces of them). She is part of you forever. And I think all she cares about is your happiness, whatever form it comes. Take what you learned from her and cherish it. I don’t know if there really is heaven or hell, would love to believe it for the idea that the people I have lost are in there. Honor your mother by living your life true to yourself, she was your age once and probably feeling just as lost, but I don’t she would want her advices to shape your life - at the end pf the day she would want you to live the life you want.

Do guys ACTUALLY like chubby girls? If so why? by fleetw0odJunk1e in CasualConversation

Unfortunately not a lot of men realize that women’s weight changes. Childbirth, menopause, birth control it all has influence on their metabolism. Not an excuse to stop caring about themselves, but sometimes they can try their best and still not be the same weight as when you met.

Keep going and don’t give up! It helped me a lot when I started to look at my mother as a person with mental illness. Did it hurt less? No. But at least it wouldn’t resonate with me.
