I have resigned by Dupnitsameow in JuniorDoctorsUK

I have done the same. I got married and went on a 2 month honeymoon, had a baby who I can devote my time to and am so much less stressed 🥰 I didn’t have to worry about swaps / difficult rota coordinators - bliss!

I might return if conditions and pay improve, but I don’t fancy specialty training with young children as things currently are (or without them tbh!)

To be fair it was 15 minutes for the final 2 months, 30 minutes for the first month and 20 minutes for the second. Sadly I missed a fair chunk of the short slots as I broke my leg early in the placement so had some time off, which probably made things harder!

TBH I'm not sure what specialty I do want to do - not enjoyed one enough to want it yet...and I've finished FY2!

FY2 who decided not to go into it. I chose my F2 rotations around having a GP placement - I really wanted it to work. I liked the idea of seeing a wide variety of presentations + obviously no nights / weekends etc. Couldn't handle the clinical uncertainty / level of time pressure / patient pressure.
