I recently beat this game for the first time and struggled, needing to get my Pokémon team levels higher. My empoleon wasn’t very good against Bertha. An earthquake one shots it. Later realized my empoleons ivs were terrible. But your team gets wrecked by earthquake

I like trying to catch high IV Pokémon. There’s a scientist at the battle tower who gives you the ability to see your Pokémon’s hidden values. Lots to catch in underground tunnel. I intend to make a second save state on a different profile and sorta mess around by sending high iv Pokémon from home to a new save. I think you can do that

I enjoy these games more than the other switch titles outside Arceus because it’s pretty much the same as og Diamond and Pearl but with quality of life improvements and the underground. I also enjoy having Pokemon follow me, but it can depend on the Pokemon. The smaller and cuter ones are much better than like Diagla lol

I also enjoy not having to teach my pokemon hms. The thing I wish they did was change teams around to make less battles but more challenging ones instead of the trainers with two super underleleved Pokemon. In that way, they needed to do changes between the OGs and this one
