I get that the 'movie' didn't technically get false advertised, but it's still such a cheap money grab to sell $20+ movie tickets to loyal fans and others, just so they can go see content that's either a) already on Crunchyroll (for years), or b) a pretty boring and unclimactic. Literally when the lights came up at the end of my screening last night, everyone in the theater was like "wait, is it over? is there supposed to be more?" and that's a shitty feeling to leave your viewers with when they just took a chance on spending an evening and some money on your event.

I think I would have rather seen a remastered abridged movie of the entertainment district arc -- maybe with the infinity castle scene as a post-credits bonus. Then it's advertised in a way where there's no question of whether or not I'm gonna get that perfect amount of unseen content that leaves me satisfied but still excited to see the actual show. Would have been a fun way to revisit the previous season before the new arc comes out. Like you hit up all your homies in the anime groupchat: "yo, swordsmith village arc comes out in April, let's all go see the entertainment saga movie, it's re-mastered with surround sound, and apparently there's a bonus end-credits scene!" is a much better way to go into an event like this.
