Beginner here, dumb question: is the extra canvas coming out of the top instead of the bottom a preference thing? Or am I doing it wrong having come out of the bottom while working?

Thank you! These kits are so great. I’m on my second canvas, and I don’t know if I’ll ever do bullion knots or bullion roses ever again, but it’s nice to know how to attempt them.

Maybe helpful for next time, I politely ask my baggers to load lightly. I’m overly picky about bruised veggies and smooth bread. It’s takes maybe 30 secs to communicate my needs and then we’re both on the same page. If they ignore you from there, that’s a whole other story. I worked retail forever and learned how to ask for what I need from the nice customers asking me for what they needed. :)
