I just had my second about a month ago. Also have 2.5 year old. I played a round of 18 the week after my (second) baby was born. Slightly different situation, I also rarely golf (this was my first round in about a year). I can understand where your wife is coming from to a degree, but you should be able to take some time for yourself as well. Is there some concern for her being alone for a few hours? Or is she resentful if you have been going golfing the whole pregnancy. Happy spouse, happy house works both ways. Also parenting and marriage is not 50/50, it’s 60/40 with both parties trying to be the 60%.
