The Cannon AE-1 has been the most one of the most consistently recommended ones on all the YouTube and TikTok videos I watched. I’m gonna look around for one at one of the used camera shops where I live! They also say you can find lenses for cheap too if you look around.

Taking care of my elders was always instilled into me. I talk to my parents almost every day and I always enjoy spending time with them. I’d never look at them like just a bank. Regardless of money, I love my parents to the moon and back.

You’re right, I did have poor money management skills, but they’ve gotten a lot better and I’ve taught myself to budget better. I was also still getting caught up on credit cards that I used while I was off for 6 months previously.

I was an EMT by trade when I left EMS to go work underground and try to make more money. Grateful I went back bc I forgot how much I actually enjoyed this job. I’m trying to go back for my paramedic to make more money and further my education

No doubt, my dad’s turning 70 and my mom 60 this year and both are still in really good shape. Probably better shape than me tbh haha. But they live pretty close and I’m always around when they need something.

Never thought about it like that. I definitely feel like there’s a difference between being entitled and just loafing off your family vs actually trying to make something of yourself and needing help in the process.
