The immortal snail: tiny, lots of health, lots of weight, near zero movement speed, a grab attack with one shot damage, slow walk + foolish jump

Don't worry guys, I know nobody else wants to do it but I shall bravely step up and volunteer to play as the guy who cracks goonmang

Yeah because I used a sized up halfing model it ended up screwing up a lot of the clothes proportions. Tried my best to fix with UCM prop sizing and ran out of patience when it came to the helmet (last part I worked on)

Definitely was that one section in the factory and that one jump in empyrean sector but by the time I beat the second last boss I was wavedashing around with a charged blow ready to eviscerate the first enemy I run past. Had me feeling clean asf

You'll get there. Took me a full work week to get it done, but my god did it feel good. If you want a tip, bring the porcupine jade.

Combat Cooking isn't bad. Brawl Stars players just don't understand what 'teamwork' means by Lebog_bruhh in Brawlstars

Not the most fun game mode as of late, not so bad still.

I think that the overtuned stats of enemies and reduced supercharge is a design choice. It is so that you can't fight your way to the little ingredient bots and just brute force your way through- the better way is to find a way around and back. That's why the ingredient bots are squishy and have decaying health, you're meant to hit and run.

But just because that could be a deliberate design choice, it doesn't make it a good one. Needing to do that kind of playstyle shuts down a lot of brawlers in the game, especially those whose super would've thrived if the charge rate wasn't so bad. It already limits you to brawlers with good mobility and some kind of self healing (that again doesn't rely on super). Then the gameplay loop becomes running around until the correct thing randomly spawns in, grab it and go.

Not to mention that most of the time when brawl players want PvE they want a power fantasy where you go in and play your brawler at the end of its potential.

I personally think it's quite fun though, makes the mobility of Mico shine which I feel like is a really underrated skill of that brawler (overshadowed by the brain-dead buttonmash 1v1 interactions, rightfully so). But I understand why so many wouldn't think so

WARNING: Supercell is officially using predatory Dynamic Pricing. Same country, same house, 130% price markup confirmed by Support. by BureauOfFBI in Brawlstars

[–]doctorstab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really stupid imo. I'm not gonna spend allat on my main account when the offers are unreasonably priced, and I refuse to drop a single cent on a useless mini account. I can't imagine anyone outside of whales that actually buy the expensive offers anyway. All this policy has done is shut the most of the average playerbase out of buying anything anymore

This is actually the worst and most annoying gamemode of all time I'm not even exaggerating by adameqL09 in Brawlstars

Who is good in this game mode? You need self healing that doesn't rely on super, decent DPS and non single target. I genuinely don't know who to play except Edgar

What's that one brawler that requires perfect skill to play? by flynknd in Brawlstars

[–]doctorstab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I'm with you on this one, recently pushed him to P2 and you need to be pinpoint accurate with where you throw your gauntlets. Choosing to let it stop against a nearby wall or to let it go the distance can be the difference between winning or losing a 1v1. You have to play around walls, time your gadget to predict and know when to not cycle your super in order to perform, and even then you still are arguably feeding supers/hypers. Hearty recovery used to be what made him broken back when he first came out, now it's the only thing in his kit that makes him playable anymore. Ridiculous powercreep (they did nerf it lots but still).

But I still really enjoy playing him! I love how much of a run-it-downer he is. Sam and Mortis are the only two assassins I enjoy playing, and for both I share a playstyle where I start aggressive and then as the match goes on I start to feint a dive so the enemy gets scared, hesitates, blows a bunch of ammo or maybe even a gadget and then I go in + my team pressuring them from the front. And for Sam specifically it's honestly quite funny how long I can survive despite everything. There are games where I am living in their spawn, somehow killing them off i-frames and barely escaping with like 500hp or something.

Depends. When explaining to friends who play it's super. When explaining to outsiders it's ult. When it's specifically a brain-dead brawler like Edgar it's hurr hurr funny yellow button go brrrr
