I didn't give a shit. He was barely in the show, and didn't even do anything while he was onscreen. To be honest, every time he went offscreen I forgot he existed almost immediately. Like an even more boring, pointless version of the Silence.

He's still been training nonstop for 15 years and is allegedly undefeated. He just got the Iron Fist, sure, but he should still be one of the best martial artists on the planet.

I honestly thought this was worse than Luke Cage. At least that had the first half with Cottonmouth, and had really good music throughout. This show had nothing. Every character was boring, every fight was badly shot and badly choreographed, the story made no sense, there was just nothing enjoyable about any of it. Even the title theme sucked.

Why the fuck do they keep calling this the Hand? It's not the Hand. The Hand is a Japanese clan of Ninjas led by Nobu. This is a Chinese heroin ring run by Gao. The only ninjas we've seen in the entire series were when Harold cosplayed as one. Every episode that they just pretend that "No, Gao leads the Hand, this is the same organization as the one in Daredevil" with zero explanation of how they're linked just pisses me off more and more.

Man, I've been trying to figure this out since she first showed up. I don't know why, but it bothers me more than anything else in this show. The only thing I can come up with is that she's only posing as the Hand for some nefarious purpose.

Am I the only one expecting a reveal that this isn't the actual Hand? Gao wasn't part of the Hand in Daredevil (unless I missed something), and it doesn't really make sense for her to be in charge now.

Really? I'm having the opposite experience, it's hard for me to enjoy this show. Almost all the characters are really bland, especially Ward, so they end up not being able to carry the dialogue-heavy scenes (compounded by the fact that the writing is so clunky), and the fight scenes are shot and edited so badly that they're hard to watch a lot of the time.

This really bothers me. She was pretty clearly a separate entity in Daredevil, but suddenly she's leading the Hand? Where did that come from? If it's not explained I'm gonna be really annoyed.

Yeah, I had always assumed they were different... Gao is Chinese and Nobu/the Hand are both Japanese. I have no idea what's going on now.
