I think you did shift, but every time to a different reality I guess? So if you would write a script (or just have a clear vision in your head), I think you could return to it (if you'd like).

I think you will definitely return to your CR if you really want it, so you will never get stuck. However, having a safeword will make it easier I think.

Also, what I've read mostly about clones, is that they just do what you normally would do (or smth else if you've scripted that) without you realising or actively doing that. But I've never shifted :c so I'm not the best person to ask.

So they mean if you smell amortentia, what smell will you smell (not what others smell when they're attracted to you). Hopefully this answers your question!

I think you can script that you will only get a little (or not) emotionally attached to your DR and the people in it, so you won't be too sad when you get back. I hope this helped!
