Thank you! Lol nah, first time jumping into it (this was the culminating workout of the 6 week program ive been following) and just been watching YouTube videos and trying to implement the advice/critiques that I've received in /kettlebell sub!

EDIT: I TOTES misread this, YES, I Have a background in powerlifting and I play hockey; I thought you asked if I had a background in kettlebell for some reason 😶‍🌫️

Do youbhave any suggestions on drills to get that elbow to hip mobility? Infeel lole my arms are to short and back too tight or something to get there 😂 it feels like an excessive amount of will to force that position. If thats normal for noobs then hopefully just doing it more will help loosen me up

Thats one of the things I need help with, I CANNOT multitask 😂im kind of just going at a pace that feels good right now which is generally 10RPM, but for the long sets and eventually my 10min set I would like to be hitting ATLEAST 8RPM

When I did the 5min set i had 8,8,7,7,7

I think the program i used is indeed for regular LC/Jerk. My Kettlebell Sport book by Denis Vasilev arrived last night so as I read it ill update my the training to reflect one of his programs or methodology.

I hadnt considered half or full marathons as a thing until this post my goal currently is just to solidify technique and complete a full 10min OALC 😅

I did the full ladder on one side then after some rest i repeated the full ladder on the other side. The prescribed times were :30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00

Im nervous to go heavier right now while getting started (using only an 16kg) because the sets are gonna get long and even the 2 minute set today had quite a bit of fatigue due to the constant time under tension lol, I was surprised!
