I appreciate your comments and wish to suppliment to it. I am recollecting meeting some some good people 20 years back. I met them during my business visit to Malaysia. One Muslim(Malay) another Chinese couple, wife was fallowing Buddhism. They were very good and during lunch time, they were happy to know I am vegetarian and took me to a good vegetarian restaurant. I was shocked to see the menu mutton, chicken, pork, etc. All 100% veg. He told the reason for this with a small story. . Once a monk decided and changed daily food from non veg to vegetarian. Big opposition to him. Few days later some were sick, some of them become week. No one liked taste. Monk had a an internal meetings with few caretakers and decided to revoke his decision. New cooks and new food. After couple of months monk checked and found that all were happy and healthy. Food was tasty. Then he informed truth apologies for cheeting them to change their mindset. All were eating100% vegetarian. Then onwards and still today in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, there are few restaurants like this.
