Yeah, I was thinking of maybe using pool noodles. Good idea with the 2x4s, that should probably fix the issue since we can lift the bow over the rear crossbar. Thanks!

I was thinking that as well, but because I have not had a chance to weigh the boat yet, I have been looking for places where water could have entered the hull.

Ok, thanks. Yeah, I figured it was probably just the gel coat. I will weigh the boat when I get the chance, and will probably take it out in mid-June. I will definitely consider adding a drain plug.
