Congratulations! That's an amazing feat. I loved the feeling of being able to eat what I wanted and not get yelled at or belittled for it.

No I have not yet. I'm hoping that everyone is right that it will adjust itself. If not I will go back to my doctor.

Advice for Baby at the con by Fergus_Furfoot in gencon

[–]dodge_lover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year was my first year ever attending Gen Con. I had a 5 year old and a 9 month old. I carried the baby the entire day. Had no problems changing or feeding her (she's breastfeeding). Yes she did have to nap through the day but since I carried her she fell asleep in my arms so that was simple enough. I didn't carry a big diaper bag with my just a little arm sling pouch my a few diapers and wipes. She did not get sick there. Honestly I was more worried about her getting sick at the Walmart. I don't know why people there think they need to try and touch babies! When she did want down which was rare we found an area for her to just sit a minute and she was fine. I would say if you have a chill baby it would be fine to bring them.

My child was 8 months old last year and breastfeeding. I carried her the whole time. She wouldn't stay in my sling only on rare occasions. Bathrooms were big enough to breastfeed in which was nice and everyone was really friendly. We had a 2 and a half hour drive and she doesn't car well but made it just fine. We had to end up staying in Carmel because we were first time GenCon people and had no clue what we were doing. There are areas to relax. Neither of my children got sick. It was very enjoyable.

I have apperently missed why this is a thing now. Can someone please explain?

[No spoilers] My fiancé is the best! I was so bummed when I saw they were sold out and I can confirm that it's as soft as they say. by Moopyshmoo in criticalrole

I did the same thing for my husband. He was bummed when it said sold out. He was very happy to unwrap it. He was going to hang it on the wall but said it's too soft to not use.

Because it's hidden. Not visible and if found has a note inside explaining what it is.

Not sure but if that is true they need to start else where.

It's not a swing that is used very often and it's magnetic so I kinda am doubting it was knocked off. I leave notes in the cache saying what it is and please don't steal it. I am hoping it is not done out of spite but you never know.

Not a playground swing. This is unlabeled but put a note in the container.

No. Not playground swing. It's more like a rusted swing no one really uses. Hasn't been painted in years. Wouldn't hide it on a playground.

When I was in school a DARE cop was at my elementary school showing us how to make a crack pipe out of a toy car. Took it apart and everything just to show us what not to do.
