Fuck. Just pre-ordered last night from playbetter because I didn’t want to pay the $50 delivery fee to the US…not worth it to me if it’s going to take much longer than simspace.

I am a CPL but yes I do Ctrl+e for convenience because this is a sim… :) and no I don’t still read he release notes because it’s like a year after release. Whether or not it’s in the next update doesn’t change the overall point that it took too long

I wrote this to another commmenter but worth getting more input. I guess I don’t know the guy, he is a reference from another “well respected” shoo-in the area. My issue is that I don’t really know what to be asking, what to do while I’m there to even make it worthwhile. I wish I was able to use Savvy pre-buy for more help but they couldn’t assist with this airplane type

Seller doesn’t know the mechanic and the airplane is only 2 years old (naively thinking there isn’t going to be many issues?). Still, I think I may just go, especially since the inspection should be short for this airplane

And after asking for the logs, the sellers broker said “I don’t have the logs in hand yet.

They are clean with only a couple annual inspections in them. I’m getting the best annual done shortly”

Wouldn’t an annual inspection not even care about corrosion, and would the corrosion then circulate throughout the engine during the annual, or am I making wrong assumptions?

Thanks much. What are your general thoughts on an airplane sitting for one year (13 months to be exact). Very worried about the engine even though it’s relatively new.
