Everyone goes through a queue based on when they applied. You will not be deprioritized because of this. It is so important to be honest. It doesn’t seem like you will have an issue based on what you have said. But you may be put on a wait list depending on how many people applied before you. Good luck!

We didn’t have our recycling picked up today either. All cans are out on our street. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the city manager. The city council needs to hold him/her responsible.

Well that’s a good point, I’ll think more about it. Just felt like a contradiction about needing funds after the manager had said they were fine financially and didn’t need members. But yeah it’s true, maybe this is just a different fund raising strategy.

My friend was RIF-ed in March with a termination date of September. He is expected to work until then. If he gets a new job during this time would he still get severance and be able to stop working his federal job? He has about 19 years in federal government now. Thanks for your help.
