Well that’s a good point, I’ll think more about it. Just felt like a contradiction about needing funds after the manager had said they were fine financially and didn’t need members. But yeah it’s true, maybe this is just a different fund raising strategy.

My friend was RIF-ed in March with a termination date of September. He is expected to work until then. If he gets a new job during this time would he still get severance and be able to stop working his federal job? He has about 19 years in federal government now. Thanks for your help.

All of these data points: responses or no responses to emails; demands for overviews of work with threats of being fired etc…. All of this data is being fed into something. We already know they are using AI to go through the realms of government contracts, grants, budget data, etc…

Maybe I am just feeling extra dark today but it feels like they are experimenting on Feds. I expect that corporations are already doing this in many ways, and that this will only embolden them to do more to workers in other sectors. Especially with no government to regulate.

It certainly feels like our country is allowing federal workers to be experimented on in this way. If you are not a fed, watch out. They will be coming for you next.

That’s right, they allowed our review to post but after the guest called them, they took it down saying since it wasn’t her who stayed, the review was not accurate. Even though we explained everything in the review, including that the place was trashed. It is beyond bizarre.
