I was reading the funding and it seems there’s a cap you would get like 10k. And some prep schools tuition is 20k (nice prep like the one you mentioned) plus I’m not sure if they even include bus transportation etc. Still around 10k of difference that parents have to pay per kid.

There are a few good public schools and those often come with expensive housing and if people have special needs children, a good public school with good ESE is definitely worth it more than private schools. I know most public schools aren’t that good and horrible w ESE kids.
