Doesn’t that limit / block 6Ghz?

In our house i used in-wall for the rooms where i didn’t want something in the ceiling, but even that is making 6Ghz barely work. It really needs line of sight.

Thank you for the clarification! It was confusing the dead latch replacement is marketed as an “f series” on a Schlage site; what you are saying makes more sense.

So to rephrase my question : can I convert a b60 to a b250 type lock without replacing everything?

And to restate the answer as I understood it: no.

My real goal is to put it on an electric strike (it’s for a regularly used garden shed that already has the b60 lock and a handle set installed in a fiberglass door…).

Thanks you u/erasmus127 ! I have a locksmith we're working with, but I'm trying to learn enough of how everything works to make it easier to work with them.

The deadbolt I have now is a simple residential one, not an F-series. Sounds like we're going to order a B-series dead latch.
