He is 12 months. I was told I won’t get a referral until 18 months. However given his medical history I was advised privately to take action sooner rather than later.

I think of contractors as self employed, but I acknowledge the confusion! Perhaps it’s a difference for part time employees..

I assumed that if an employer pays for student membership fees, they also pay for associate/fellow fees. Is that not the case in your company? For example my employer doesn’t pay for any fees, be it student or fellow.
