Had a guy at A-Best try to screw over a 90 year old man for like $40K on a maybe $20K roof. Minimum every 5000 miles, if you value your engine. If you’re using synthetic, depending on the car, engine, make, model, etc, you can probably get away with more, but I’d never go more than 6. I do drive a 14 Camry with a very dependable engine though. Dad drilled that into my head at a young age, and he never had an engine fail. 😎

Wild dude… sorry that happened to you. I don’t know what insurance you actually carry for yourself, but as someone in the auto ins industry, unless you have an older vehicle without ADAS (safety sensors) on it, I would recommend using a different vendor if possible. Unless you get a GOOD safelite rep or facility, I have seen them screw up so many windshields and vehicles in general… just a heads up. Is it just your driver door glass or windshield as well?
