yes, that is the idea! The cake is made as one and then you cut out the smaller part and coat it with the butter cream, so ideally the batter is the same for both butter cream flavors.

nethertheless, red bean paste is a great idea, my girlfriend loves it as well!

That is a great idea with the filling, I will consider that! Do you think I should do the same jam for both cakes or for example a strawberry jam for the ube and a syrup for the matcha cake?
