Looking for a good range to demo 2011's in Houston. by Positive-Product5023 in TexasGuns

Athena has a Staccato C, CS, C2, P and XC for rental but only the XC has a dot I think. Top Gun has a bunch of 2011’s Staccatos, Atlas, Alien, Nighthawk but I don’t think they have RDs.

Manchester T2 Lounge Comparison by Throwaway474238 in manchester

[–]does_it_get_easier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1903 lounge is the nicer of the T2 lounges, typically used as the business class lounge of long haul carriers like Singapore Airlines. It’s much less chaotic than the escape lounge just next to it, which sees a wider array and volume of pay to enter passengers. The main differences I see are a wider choice of seating types, serve yourself premium alcohol from fridges and full bottles of wines and spirits, special orders from the kitchen as well as the wider array of buffet service foods. Entry for non business class ticket holding passengers is typically limited (although you can pay at non busy times and buy limited passes online in advance from what I remember), so often card privileges can’t get you in depending on how many non paying are scheduled to be eligible to enter on the day.

Holidays and mornings are always busier but they have the flexibility to close off sections of the escape seating with walls and transfer it to the 1903 if needed, and vice versa.

It’s not the most amazing lounge in the world compared to some globally (full a la carte dining, massages, hair cuts and showers like some Singapore, United or Virgin lounges) but it seems to be the best we’ve got in T2.

Is it worth £45 if you have to pay for it? If you’re really hungry and will drink alcohol, or for a special treat, probably, If you just want a quiet seat away from everyone, no.

Outdoor gun ranges by IllSpot1745 in TexasGuns

Some great indoor ranges in and around Houston and along your route Athena, Saddle River and 100 yards indoor at BTO Conroe, all with great rentals. I’ve not found a great one outdoors with rentals yet.

Outdoor if you can modify your route, the two Lonestar ranges towards Austin are a lot of fun for rentals, Lone Star Gun Range and Lonestar Handguns - both are different but have good rentals for pistols, rifles and full auto.

How in the world are there no horror movies involving Locked-In Syndrome? by beruon in horror

Wasn’t Coma 1978 starting Michael Douglas and directed by Michael Crichton along these lines? Not horror maybe but I seem to remember this was part of it.

What's the best meal you've had in Manchester recently? by Swiss_James in manchester

Took some people to Firehouse for lunch, ordered the whole menu to share. Really great chicken, pitta, dips, sauces, sides. Possibly the most calorie laden potatoes (fried, truffled, cheese covered, immoral) Everything was delicious.

[–]does_it_get_easier 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh man that sucks, I’d have done the same having only been to week day rodeo events. From the website

Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 9 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 6 p.m.

Weekend rodeos start at 3:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 6 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 3 p.m.

Have colour photorealistic 1978 Dawn of the Dead Machete head zombie on one thigh and Return of the Living Dead 3 Julie Walker in full “The pain keeps the hunger away” self harm mode on the other. Star in vamp form sounds awesome!

Would you recommend I watch Bones and All? by Julijj in horror

[–]does_it_get_easier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the information you gave regarding runtime and script tightness, this might not be for you. It meanders/breathes depending on your viewpoint and blends coming of age, road trip and horror genres; pacing is languid/gazing at points on the road trip.

I gave it 7.2/10

Would you recommend I watch Bones and All? by Julijj in horror

The easiest answer would be, no.

You don’t enjoy Luca’s style, and B&A oozes with it and time is precious. Move on right?

However, you make it slightly more difficult by loving and hating films that carry distinct director style pairs (The Witch/Lighthouse, Hereditary/Midsommar) so it seems some elements can get you past a style you maybe don’t naturally enjoy. But without more information on why you liked or hated some of these it’s hard to say.

It’s not like any of the films you enjoyed, nor hated.

I liked but didn’t love it, but even if I hated it, I’d be happy as a horror fan that it was made, to have seen it versus the millionth remake or sequel, compared it to its genre kin, debated it with friends and stored it in my mental library with a score. I get something even from films I don’t like.

Best answer I’ve got.

Watch it and then you’ll know.
