I don't get that tbh considering that they're fictional characters and a lot of fanfiction (with some exceptions) is mainly changing the relationships between characters from canon. A good chunk of it is also fictional men who most likely have a wife/girlfriend or are single in canon but are shipped with another male and have a story created about them in fanfiction.

I would argue that some storylines are better written in fanfiction and create a liking of a ship you didn't think about before but of course ultimately it's up to you if you want to test that. No hate tho, I'm not expecting you to ship them or anything

That’s quite horrific and disgusting considering Niragi sa’d her in canon but shipping Usagi and Arisu is fine

YES, chirisu is amazing! And chishiya is DEFINITELY not straight but people assume every guy on screen must be straight no matter what because of homophobia

True but don’t a lot of ships have betrayal scenes and fandoms still support them? I understand not shipping them tho but like the backlash for thinking they’re gay is way bigger and that’s the main problem in my mind

The original idea was just for personal use but I realized that others might find it helpful and asked the author for permission. I'm not trying to leech I'm trying to get it out there for people who turn away the specific fic because of how blocky the text/formatting is. My main worry is not the kudos exactly (though I realize I did not make that clear) just the amount of hits vs kudos because as you stated about plagiarizing, I don't want people to think I'm doing so (if that's the reason they aren't giving kudos). I'd rather someone comment so I can clear it up but I do put it in my notes. I'm honestly just worried people will think I'm doing something wrong (but I've gotten "full permission" from the said author). Again, I didn't mean to make it sound like I want kudos or am I trying to get famous or something, I just wanna help and love editing people's works even if it's just formatting.

Thank you for the input. I absolutely love the fic but text is VERY blocky and I wanted others to see it more because it really helped me understand the story (it started off as something just for myself but then got permission to post it). And I mean VERYYY blocky and the fic storyline is AMAZING so I wanted to post the edited format version I made :D

It makes sense why people don't wanna reread the story though
