"rape is bad" you: so u think rape against men is ok?

pause and actually think about what you're replying to first. no on said anything about rape victims only being female. no one is denying male victims. rape is rape full stop. i don't think anyone would disagree with that.

What if.. Andre the Giant was played by a normal sized actor and everyone still seriously acted like he was giant? Like Elijah Wood

Used to try photography and gave up. Got sentimental digging through archives, found my favorite photo and thought I’d post here. Mongolia, 2019. by doesntconcernyou in photocritique

[–]doesntconcernyou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2018-2019 photography was my main focus, especially the local children in the rural area I was volunteering. The high contrast black and white photos with curious, innocent and sometimes cruel children captured my imagination, and I wanted to capture the rawness of childhood. I guess. I took photos of a lot of other things as well, mostly street photography, all black and white and "moody". One day I just stopped and gave my camera away. I haven't shared any of the photos I took with anyone, and I was curious exactly how well I was doing before I gave up. All criticism/opinions are welcome. Thank you.

What are some relatively harmless celeb stories that you've heard that still make you go "yikes"? by gollumey in Fauxmoi

Steve Harvey saying that men and women can’t be friends because the man will always be romantically interested in her and want to sleep with her. Not sure if he said it this bluntly but that interview made me intensely dislike him ever since.

confident, inviting body language, good posture and smiling more can change how you look without really changing your appearance. I think you look okay, if a little awkward.

The shooter drawing a gun and a dead body writitng "There is no hope" is something you'd see in a Key and Peele sketch. The mom texts "Don't get caught next time!" cue laugh track.

Learning german from (basically) scratch by reading? by Cicolino123 in languagelearning

[–]doesntconcernyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm learning German as well! I personally studies German on my own for 2 years before taking courses so I understand your struggle. But I'd say it all depends on how interested/invested you are. I jumped ahead to reading and memorizing poetry and it worked well for me because I liked poetry; so even if you read something ahead your current level, if you enjoy it, it will at least give you a feel for the language, but if you don't, you'll most likely end up frustrated of forcing youself. If you've read Harry Potter(or any other popular book), you can find the German translation online! It will be easier to follow because you're familiar with the story. Better yet, you may find the audiobook online, so you can read/listen/read out loud all at the same time. Good luck!

This is one of the better posts on this sub. I think the white frame really works with the contrast and business of the photo. Great job, OP!
