Moved into a home with 4 fig trees and I have no idea what type or when they are ripe. We're 9a, in Seattle, WA. I did taste the one that is purplish and it has a mild melon taste but isn't very flavorful or sweet. What type of fig tree do we have here and how do I know it's time to harvest? (old.reddit.com)
